About Us

Reflections Christian Counseling was birthed out of a desire to better help Christian clients with their relational issues. We are happy to see client's from all cultures and  faith backgrounds but our goal is quality care that values the unique needs of Christian couples and individuals.

As a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) with a MA from Adler Graduate School, Andrew's therapeutic approach is to blend Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy with Christian integration tools for couples who desire this approach. He is also an associate member of the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists. He is currently in the process of completing the education and consultation requirements for certification as a sex therapist. Andrew works with couples and individual on sexual issues such as desire discrepancy, male sexual disorders, female sexual disorders, unwanted sexual behaviors/porn compulsion, betrayal trauma, and sexual issues related to past abuse. ​​

As a Christian Coach, Katies enjoys working with premarital couples, married couples, and individuals. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from North Central University. She has completed the Gottman Level 1 and 2 training for Couples Therapy, and she is Prepare/Enrich certified. She is a Certified Life Coach with the AACC (American Association of Christian Counseling), and is a member of the ICCA(International Christian Coaching Association). She has been married to her husband, Andrew for almost 20 years. With 15 years of parenting experience and over 20 years of mentoring/discipleship experience, she offers Biblical Christian coaching for premarital couples, married couples, parents, and individuals seeking to be who God has called them to be in their individual situation. She is not a therapist and does not diagnose mental health disorders, treat trauma, or provide psychological services.

Andrew and Katie have been married for almost 20 years. Andrew and Katie are especially passionate about equipping others with tools that they learned early in marriage including in their premarital work over 20 years ago. Katie's Coaching and Andrew's therapy include some of the communication and relationship skills that they learned early in marriage. They have 3 children and attempt to live a "not so serious life." With a strong belief that God desires marriage to be fun, they both report hobbies of family time, reading, and drinking caffeinated beverages. Katies additional hobbies including swimming, teaching swimming, and connecting with friends. Andrew hobbies include physical exercise, Christian meditation, and watching basketball.
